Sunday Funday Recap!

We are so excited to share that CNLC’s first Sunday Funday was a success! We want to give thanks to everyone that joined us, donated items, our presenting sponsor Spencer Fane, and our food and drink sponsor Town & Country Title Services. We also want to thank Long Table Brewhouse for allowing us to use their space, and Barrett and Pratt Provisions for providing the delicious food. CNLC owes all our success to our supporters and clients. At the event, we highlighted four clients that provided testimonials. These clients include the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Soul Stories, High Country News, and Startup Colorado. Together, we have saved these clients over $100,000 in legal fees. Read below what these clients said about CNLC.

“I just wanted to take a moment to share my experiences with Colorado Nonprofit Legal Center’s services.  Our organization has been utilizing CNLC for our business transaction, CGA, and solicitation annual filings.  The work has been exemplary, and I have appreciated the expertise and counsel provided on our filings from CNLC (particularly, Katie).  I have every confidence that the filings will be handled and in a timely manner and I truly appreciate the partnership that has been formed between or organization and CNLC.  Thanks so much for everything you do!” – National Multiple Sclerosis Society

“Katie Thomas has been so generous with her legal support. She is helping us with 501(c)3 status, writing contracts, and our governance board Bylaws. I feel like I can go to her with anything, and she will respond with a detailed and supportive answer. Katie has a great energy and is clearly passionate about helping others. Her work is helping us transition from a community organization to a non-profit who can make a much larger impact on the mental wellness of our city. I would HIGHLY recommend her and the folks at CNLC to any nonprofit. ” – Soul Stories

“Katie helped my team create an endowment agreement, with is a critical component of planned giving work for our fundraising team. She is wonderful to work with: clear, responsive, professional and fast. We will use their services again and highly recommend them.” – High Country News

“CNLC has been a vital partner to Startup Colorado during its transition from a CU Boulder outreach program to its own independent 501c3 nonprofit. Katie and her team go above and beyond to ensure their clients fully understand the legal process; and she does it with constant kindness, patience, and diligence. We are truly humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to work with Katie and will continue to seek outside counsel from CNLC for Startup Colorado.” – Startup Colorado

We hope to see more of you at next year’s Sunday Funday! In the meantime, check out some photos from the event below.
